America's Navy is a force as relevant today as it's been historically significan for the last 238 years. The times may change, the threats may become more obscure, the complex nature of 21st century life may make the demand for such presence less obvious. The Wappingers VFW Post 5913 was established on 18 February 1946. Since our founding, our Post/members have proudly served veterans and the community. As we celebrate our 80th Anniversary year and beyond, Post 5913 remains committed to fostering unity with comrades, supporting the military and veterans, promoting patriotism and engaging community.
 
We welcome and invite all fellow comrades and prospective members to join us in celebrating the next 80 years together!
